5782: Resurrection Glory
We have entered a new year on the Hebraic calendar which is always significant, and in it there is a definitive shift. The term “Resurrection Glory” may sound like religious or spiritual fluff but this year will be anything but fluff. The word “Resurrection" is highlighted because many things have died, or seemingly have a death sentence on it. The word “Glory” is highlighted because it is the proper other-worldly descriptive for what heaven is releasing. It is the breakthrough presence of God that heals and delivers people but it is much more than that. The Hebrew word for Glory is Kabod and among its definitions are “riches, honor, reputation and weight.” Both God and His attentive people will experience and showcase this next measure of “Glory.” Much of it will be as if it were a “Resurrection”—from death to life and dark to light, sudden reality. The intense and extended season of death and loss will suddenly experience a “Resurrection Glory.” Global rattling and global transforming…Presence, Power and Provision will be in this Resurrection Glory.
Psalm 57, 82, and Isaiah 57
Psalms 57 and 82 are foundational passages for this new year— as well as Isaiah 57. They lay a foundation for understanding how God is moving in 5782, and in doing so lift us up to His narrative for the hour. Only God could coordinate the numbering of Psalms chapters with the year we have entered into. The greatest battle of the day is over the narrative. If Satan can convince you of his narrative you will live not in Resurrection Glory but rather under “the sky is falling.” Satan will attempt to traumatize us with a false storyline using his momentary gains. These “gains" are comparatively small to the coming “vengeance” of His Resurrection Glory that will begin to be the prevailing storyline. Resurrection is God’s vengeance on death. All deaths and loss will have a Resurrection Glory available to connect to. Let me address the deaths, as it has been real and can seem so final. I will use Isaiah 57:1 and 2 as the word of the Lord to us at this time for this relevant matter.
Isaiah 57:1 and 2: Godly People Dying Early?
“Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.” (NLT)
The reality of this past season is that most of us know of someone who has died either of the “virus", the vax, or of the despair of the hour we live in. We have awakened to the reality that one of the most dangerous places to be is in the hands of “health professionals” who will enforce “health protocols” even when they repeatedly harm and kill. I recently had a very good, longterm friend of mine, who was a pastor in Latin America, pass on from the “virus” while in the hospital. It is quite likely that it was the protocols that killed him and the refusal to give him protocols that actually work. I was really upset because I never even knew he was sick until I was informed he had died. I was interrupted from this angst by suddenly seeing a picture of him in heaven. Not only was he extremely happy but I heard in Spanish, “Johnny, tenias razon. Todo va a estar mucho mejor alli.” Which means, “Johnny, you were right. Everything is going to be much better.” This had to do with the fact he had never been quite sure if we were headed for the kingdom era I had been preaching was upcoming or whether we were headed for absolute and final “doom and gloom” days. My perspective had been that Satan had gotten away with taking my friend out early. Suddenly, I saw the kindness of the Lord as this pastor had been a true kingdom warrior for decades in a difficult place. I could now see by the spirit that he was almost giddy with his new reality— as well as with what he could see was coming next for us on the earth. For clarity sake, I wasn’t "talking with the dead,” but I was allowed by the Holy Spirit to be shown the real perspective.
Psalm 91, Psalm 23, or 2 Corinthians 5:8
God wants us not to be tormented and traumatized by what seems like the many “godly" dying prematurely. God is with us regardless if we are ones who have chosen these “godly paths” (Is. 57:2). He is the Psalms 91 God who protects us when even thousands and ten thousands fall at our left and our right. He is the Psalms 23 God who “though we walk through the valley of death” still sustains us. Finally, as Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:8 “we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.” His follow up in verse 9, “So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please Him.” To a believer we have win-win-win scenarios available for us. The constant in any of the three scenarios is "He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Yes, we all ultimately succumb to human death at some point. Yes, we all are going to be tested at some point (“in this world you WILL have tribulation”), but we can remain of “good cheer” as He will superimpose a redemptive storyline over those who identify as His.
What about Suicides?
Earlier, I mentioned “the despair of the hour we live in.” Other real losses of the last couple of years are those who have loved ones who have in some way taken their own life. Because of irresponsible “health professionals”, there are many that have found themselves addicted to drugs that then diminish the minds' capability to properly function and process. I know of several such cases where young adults have found themselves addicted to the cheaper version of what the “health professionals” gave them over the counter— heroin—and how they have faced suicide or suicidal thoughts related to the addiction fight. I know of a case where a young man had God constantly in his thoughts and desired to serve God but the mind torment of the addiction battle led him to take his own life. I do not believe that person is in hell but rather fairly sure he is with the Lord. At minimum, the God I know gives that young man a chance to choose or not choose Jesus, while his mind has been cleared of the damage done by drugs. I firmly believe he would have been given a chance to truly choose while being free from mental impairment. Death gets swallowed up in victory. If you have lost a loved one this way and know that at some point that person chose Jesus, stay in hope and faith. If you can imagine your loved one free from the mental anguish and confusion brought on by substances or even demons—that is who I believe gets a final chance before the throne of God. Who would they confess if free? Remember all the Biblical promises of “you and your household will be saved.” Choosing Jesus as Lord and Savior is a personal choice, but family somehow also has strong sway. Our prayers for our loved ones' salvation are very powerful—and those prayers and decrees never stop pursuing even after human breath is done. I believe the Lord wants those of you this applies to to be encouraged at this time from what seems dreadful from this side of things. Additionally, do not forget that any missed destiny by a loved one can be added to your quiver of destiny simply by you asking for it. Resurrection Glory can come out of the worst seeming “stings of death.” Resist carrying any shame or blame and let God showcase His vengeance through you.
Psalms 57: Satan’s Death Agenda Swallowed up by God’s Resurrection Glory
Next let us look at this poignantly relevant Psalm, set during a time of intense dangers for David. Verse 1 is revealing.
“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You: And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by.”
David, already anointed by Samuel to be king, was being chased down by the judged and rejected Saul. Saul wanted to kill David. Similarly, today there is a death agenda that has targeted each and every one of us “Davids”—and really the world itself. Like David there is the practical preparation and resistance that can be done (being armed, connecting with "mighty men" and being prepared to fight) and there is the part that has to be left dependent on God. God has to be our refuge and our trust must be in Him even as we do our part.
In verse 2, David again cries out to “God Most High who will fulfill His purpose for me.”
Verse 3, “He will send help from heaven to rescue me, disgracing those who hound me.” We are in a rescue operation from heaven, but it is our role to intentionally position ourselves “beneath the shadow of His wings.” David is such a model for us because he is fully armed and surrounded with 400 fully armed men, yet His focus and confidence is in God. He is counting on God to be the one who will see his purpose fulfilled even as all the calamities of the day surround him.
Verses 4 and 6 confirm to us that this time for David is as severe as many of us are experiencing today’s “calamities.”
“I am surrounded by fierce lions who greedily devour human prey.” It is the death agenda we are seeing with the “virus”, its “health protocols”, and the withholding of the protocols that actually heal (ivermectin, hcq, etc.). David says of them here, “whose tongues cut like swords.” This speaks of the media doing the damage with their role in devouring “human prey.” In verse 6, David tells how the enemy has dug a deep pit and set a trap to bring him down—“but they themselves have fallen into it.” This is where we are at and what is to be fulfilled in our day. As in the book of Esther, Haman gets hanged on his own gallows. The enemy’s death agenda becomes self-inflicted. Death is swallowed up in victory.
"Let Your Glory be Above All the Earth”
Amazingly during this calamitous time David is able to focus on God’s objectives and verses 5 and 11 are an exact repeat of each other.
“Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, LET YOUR GLORY BE ABOVE ALL THE EARTH.”
So much here. When on earth the agenda is to devour “human prey”, the real agenda of the enemy is against God and His glory being revealed. He wants God’s presence, God’s power, and God’s provision blocked—as they are all part of the display of His glory. His glory confirms and enhances His reputation among His sons and daughters and Satan the slanderer wants the opposite. As sure a thing as David ultimately becoming king, so too the “Davids" of today will not remain in a besieged state by a death agenda. Resurrection Glory is about to be poured out and it will be a God-initiative. As it takes care of personal purposes being fulfilled it also looks out for the greater glory of God to be above it all. Resurrection Glory covers the micro and the macro.
Psalms 82: God STANDS for Justice
In 5782 this chapter 82 really speaks to us and let’s look at the first 4 verses (only 8 verses total).
“God STANDS in the congregation of the mighty. He JUDGES among the gods. How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked? Defend the poor and fatherless; DO JUSTICE to the afflicted and the needy; FREE THEM from the hand of the wicked.”
The first thing we want to take note of is that God STANDS. This means He has listened long enough, He has waited long enough for all excuses to be exhausted and now it is time for His justice ruling. We will see God STAND in 5782. The word “gods” here is the Hebrew word “elohim.” It CAN mean God, or gods but as in Exodus 21:6 it can just as easily mean “judges.” It ultimately applies to anyone given a sphere of governmental authority and this is the application for us today. That second short sentence is better translated, “He judges among the judges.” The perversion of justice is most often brought about by those specifically called to bring and defend justice. God has watched enough and heard enough of those assigned to justice. The first sentence of Psalm 82 is better read for us today as “GOD STANDS in the Supreme Court.” That, in essence, is what it means when it says “the congregation of the mighty.” We have heard much from the lower judges and some from the higher judges of the Supreme Court. Our land has experienced the electoral fraud of the ages and our “congregation of the mighty” has only enabled, defended, and advanced the anti-humanity agenda of darkness. God now STANDS to judge the judges. In doing so He re-establishes His priorities for them. No more unjust judging. No more partiality to the wicked. Defend the poor and otherwise afflicted and needy. FREE THEM from the hand of the wicked.
Verse 5 (NLT) follows up with, “But these oppressors know nothing: they are so ignorant! They wander about in darkness, while the whole world is shaken to the core.” This travesty of justice from unjust judges has caused the whole world to be shaken to its’ core while these “deep state” ones wander about in the darkness of whom they have chosen to worship and align with. Now God STANDS and it is THEIR foundations that are about to be shaken to the core. In verses 6 and 7, God lets them know that yes they were allowed a sphere of government as “elohim” but that they greatly failed and judgment from HIM now comes over them as a reflection of His commitment to justice. They may be rulers and judges, but HE is the Supreme Ruler and Judge.
Verse 8 then concludes the matter. “Arise, O God, judge the earth; For YOU shall inherit ALL NATIONS.” As you see this is in synchronicity with the last verse of Psalm 57, “Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, Let Your Glory be above all the earth.”
We note ARISE, BE EXALTED and GOD STANDS as key words for the Hebrew new year 5782. It implies He has not seemed arisen, nor exalted, nor standing. That all changes now as the visible proof of His RESURRECTION GLORY arising becomes evident to all. What is He after? Inheriting ALL NATIONS. How does He do this? With RESURRECTION GLORY. The three P’s of Presence, Power, and Provision come in this Glory and everything changes when that happens. We will know a nation is “inherited” by God when we see these three aspects of His glory evidenced as the reality of a nation. “Dry bones” can now rattle and come to life (Ez.37). Hopeless scenarios can become infused with hope and then life. Everything dead that is good can come to life in His Resurrection Glory. That is the sentence we go under as we advance into this next year. Get ready for a year of resurrections.
